I agree I've bought a pistol with over a 1000 rnds through it and it looked better than what he got! Hopefully they will do the right thing and reimburse you.

Dunno... Perhaps he missed the part about quality versus quantity. Either way im unsure if posting in the dealer section raises post count or not. Not all sub forums when posted in raise post counts everytime someone posts. A example would be the off topic sub forum.

Either way I want to thank the OP for ending the drama and getting some pics up. He went from whiny newby making a complaint against a site sponsor without proof to a newby making a complaint against a site sponsor with some proof. A much better position to be in when risking getting pinked by the mods for slamming a site vendor.

Honestly, I'd take that other guys advice, do a chargeback. Take photos, save any and every email correspondence you have to present to your credit card company. Document, document, document. And ask the credit card company what to do with the gun. Cause you probably ain't gonna get your money back out of them.

Saving the off chance that the bad publicity of this thread makes them do what's right.
 
I have to agree in that the photo's are not that good. But if one pays new price, they expect a new firearm. My trader rating is important to me, not all the trades are for big ticket items but both parties must understand what they are buying/selling. The OP was sold a Leper for new price. I cant for the life of me, understand why there is no response from the vendor. Making transactions like this right is a cost of doing business, and maintaining a spotless trader rating is even more important to a sponsor. Whatever it costs to make this right, that cost is not on the OP, it is on the staff that let the firearm be damaged on the floor.

Just trying to get my post count up. Whats up with that, there are a number of people with 17-20K of posts, 99% of which are "welcome to the forums" in the greetings and introductions. Does someone get a boobie prize for having more posts, a set of Ginsu knives, get their own reality TV show??? Someone explain how that works...even a welcome to the forums reply...i feel so unwanted.

So I will tell all of you I'm not even looking to do a return what i asked for was a discount on 4 mags.... no refund no exchange... just a discount on mags? from the sounds of the recent posts I am being more than reasonable.....
 
I've bought a floor model of a shotgun once after the salesman looked in the back and said they didn't have any more. I paid the new price and I didn't expect a discount since there was a price tag on that firearm. There is a difference between doing that in person and ordering online. I had the option to say no and was informed before I bought it that this was the specific one I was going to get. No one would consider a car used if someone had sat down in it and played with the gear shift and pedals so I don't see why a gun that someone has picked up but has never been fired would be considered used.
I do think those marks a a bit too much and they should not have labelled it as a damaged firearm and given a discount.
 
How was the wear on the inside of the gun??? That wear on front end of slide seems excessive even for a 'floor model'. See how much wear is inside to make sure it wasn't a range gun that was sold to you.

same thing with the prior floor gun i bought .... but id been told and has seen it and was offered a discount over the condition
