I've had a few myself, and feeling nostalgic.
Also, I didn't mean to come down on you, or anybody about the issue gear. Opinions vary and I felt I had to share mine, albeit with a rant lol. We all have our reasons for loving or hating these things lol.
Can't wait to get mine!

Oh, haha, no worries. The issue stuff has been growing on me over the years and now that I have my own, I'm less inclined to mod it too much besides putting some glass on it. C7A2, first rifle I've held while sleeping, first rifle I ever took a $hit with, first rifle I ever competed with, first and only rifle I've ever pointed at another human being with.

I didnt even have any money for it, But it was local and best price ive seen on one for a while.

So I sold some ammo to my neighbour ( 1000 rounds 9mm ) and dipped into the kids college fund.

And got the wife a Mocha from timmies while I was out... lol...

Nice purchase, but the one on EE for $350 is in Ottawa? Different one?
