Well it works pretty damn good.
Was out yesterday and had a great half day of cruising backroad Southern Sask in pursuit of my favorite critter,,the coyote. My first stand I called one in and shot him at 250 yards...he was somewhat hung up but he got the 70 gr. pill and died in some buckbrush.
Coyote number 2 was a single, he ran in fixated on the FoxPro decoy, he got to 50 yards and I pulled the trigger only to realize I didn't load a round. He was still intrigued by the decoy and I was able to get a round chambered and shoot. Coyote #2 down. Both coyotes were called in most of the way with a lightning Jack and finished with Vole squeeks.

My third coyote was a double that came in, they were barking off in the distance so I used a female challenge and they both cautiously came in, they hung up around 300 yards and I didn't have a great shot so I used the pup distress and the female turned on the afterburners and charged in. I shot her at 75 yards and the other dog took off out of sight.

Last stand was the best. After about 3 mins of calling using the lightning jack I brought in a female, she circled the little pond in the pic focused on the decoy. Dropped her in her tracks at 80 yards. I continued with the pup distress and after a few mins a male showed up...he was real weary. He circled the same path and saw the other dead dog and started to run off. I did a loud "woof" and stopped him at 150 yards and dropped him.
Overall was a heck of a day...beautiful country..great weather and lots of dogs.

My equipment
FoxPro Fury II w/ FoxJack decoy
Weatherby Vanguard .243 Vortex Diamondback HP 3-12x44
Zeiss Conquest binos 12x45
Some good calling country!!
