I love my old fashioned 'dumb guns', and they will always be what I use, but I honestly can see myself owning one of these cool rifle systems in the future when costs come down a bit more. The potential is huge for these firearms.
Technology gets better every year, and I am very glad to see it blending with firearms.

The "Shotglass" glasses (http://tracking-point.com/how-it-works/shotglass) I believe are made up here by Recon Instruments, as they look identical to the "Jet" model: http://www.reconinstruments.com/products/jet/
I'm just wondering why you would have to pay $995 USD when the glasses are $600 direct from Recon. Unless the "app" is $400, which is a little pricey.
Edit: I'm also not entirely sure why there is a $7000 price hike on the 7.62 version versus the 5.56...
