Newb here... Just for clarification are current Canadian Tavors shipping wit the Canadian/Israeli BCG and trigger pack or did they switch over to the US one? What are the differences/advantages?
Just got a new Israeli tavor and it looks like the BCG looks almost the same as the American tavor (SAR)
I will take some pictures of it later if I have the chance
Wondering about the safety switch on my brand new Tavor
When I flip the switch from safe to fire and viceversa, it doesn't seem to give me a nice positive click. Just feels kind of soft/spongy
Is it supposed to be like this? If not, is there any way to fix this or will it break in over time?
Same for me... just don't base the safety on sound but on feeling and position of the switch...
having handled 2 tavors side by side, one from before the FDE ones (Gen 2- old trigger pack style) came in and one that came in with the fde ones(Gen 2- new trigger pack style, sometimes referred to as Gen 2.5), I noticed the new ones (Gen 2.5) are very spongy feeling don't know whythis is.
That is random cause my 2.5 seems solid and "clicks" nicely. I have the Gen 2.5 also, but i did switch it to lefty so that could have something to do with it but i doubt it.
By the different features.
•Gen 1: IDF style with no rail, just a Mepro M21 fixed to the barrel instead.
•Gen 1.5: featured a short rail instead of a mepro.
•Gen 2: introduced the Flat top rail
•Gen 2.5: introduced the new trigger pack.
One additional production change.
The holes for the 9mm mag well adaptor were added.
They are not there on my early Gen2.
Edit: and one more. There was a change in the recoil spring assembly as well I believe.
Hi guys,
I was wondering if anybody measured the pull weight of the gen 2.5 Tavor triggers?
