Kel-Tec RDB Bullpup: My First Impressions

While I certainly prefer the looks of them over the t97, I think the tavor is still my goal.

Side note,
Tv Press Pass, thats a Bad Ass Shirt! love the colors and the Maple Leaf,
Where do you get that made??

Also, thanks for the introduction to Tasmanian Tiger products, loving those!
You ought to come up to red deer and see our new range ( 1 year old now, so proud!)

who wants those?

How many bulpup non restricted semi auto rifles are on the market compared to a regular configuration semi auto 223?

There are still buyers for that rifle and there are tons of demand out there for regular configuration non restricted rifles.
If there is demand for the 'regular configuration' NR rifle, it does not matter how many type of NR bullpup is out there.

If the RFB is discontinued and replaced with RDB, the price probably will not change much.
It is like the same thing with the RA XCR replacing the RA M96.

He has been through a few times! I met him there once, but I dont believe he has ever shot at RDSC. I will be in on Saturday briefly to complete a trade on SAP-6! :p

In regaurds to RDB vs Tavor, I am anticipating the official Cad price and reliability testing of the RDB. For now I am saying Tavor just because it has that 10 years proven in a combat roll and it has established a strong following and aftermarket in the US and Canada already.

why do you compare two different caliber rifles to two of the same caliber from RA? It is a totally different situation as there is no other 308 NR semi auto bullpup on the market currently

The only reason I've held off on a Tavor for so long (about three years) is solely because of price. When I first heard about the RDB, I had heard the price to be closer to $1500USD, and I thought to myself that that was pretty decent, but if it's going to be near enough the same as a Tavor, then I might as well get one of those. And I also don't want a T97, so that limits options some for an affordable bull-pup, that's .223 and NR.
