How about the ammo? Is it picky on ammo or any ammo will work?
And poeple reported that the feeling of the recoil is different than a traditional rifle.. What is that suppose to mean?
I want to get a Kriss, but with all these reports of issues with the Kriss. I am a bit reluctant to get one.
I was hoping the issues would disappear, but it looks like there are still some problems.
Are you even reading the posts in your thread? Everyone that has replied has said that their Vector has cycled everything.
Of course the recoil is different. Have you looked at a Vector? There is lots of info out there showing how the bolt system is set up, there is a large weight that reciprocates up and down when the bolt goes forward and back. This counteracts muzzle rise but it still has recoil just the recoil comes straight back into your shoulder and the muzzle stays on target.
I haven't heard of any problems in Canada, the only problems I read about were US ones and after some of the video's I watched of the guys in the US shooting their Vectors I'm not surprised. There were a couple where I was actually hoping the guy would shoot himself because there was no way he should have been allowed to handle a loaded firearm.
The stiff charging handle is not a problem, if you can't pull it back you probably aren't strong enough to support the rifle either.
Best bet is to go to an indoor range that has one for rent or find someone that owns one and try one for yourself.
They are a really cool little carbine and are surprisingly accurate.
If you're really that worried then you should buy the HK USC I have for sale on the EE. As accurate, maybe more accurate, traditional recoil impulse but still very easy to keep on target for quick follow up shots, HK reliable, light weight, easy to cycle with the charge handle, which also has the cool lock back like an MP-5, and I have lots of mags to go with it.
