New Tavor looking like a demo rifle

the op's first firearm was clearly damaged and handled (dirty) by the pics. My LGS would not sell that as a new rifle or even a display model.

You compare it to clothing, how many clothes stores do you go to that let greasy handed individuals paw up and down a $2700 shirt damaging it and not having to purchase?

Not referring to the op's issue at all, which was clearly a problem. Just posing the question from a general point of view since it is something I've wondered about before.

I explained from a general point of view, if you have been to designer clothes stores you know that they would not sell items in that condition or allow looky loo's to handle and damage their items. They usually have sales staff greet you at the door and tend to you for the entire visit. Some stores which only carry a few high priced items usually have them locked to racks or in locked displays.

hopefully you were not comparing a $2700 tavor to the clothes rack at walmart.

Anyone brought any new tavor recently that can check if their integrated front sight is straight or slanted?

you wont find any slanted sights old or new unless they are also flawed. i would not stop complaining to the dealer until it was fixed. for the amount money a Tavor costs that is unacceptable.
