How do YOU finish off a crippled goose?

I haven't hunted geese, but I just pull the heads right off grouse or woodcock. I know geese are much larger so it might not be so easy...
I've processed chickens and turkeys. We would insert a knife in the top of the mouth and stir the brains around, or slit the throat. Neither of which I'd try to do to an angry goose. Good luck with that!
