Srt shortens reset only. Combat sights come on Sigs, your absolutely right, poa covers bull. You can add srt to any Sig, different elite models come with different features(sights, grips, etc.). I believe most elites come with tails and srt, but not all, don't quote me.

Bingo. Same long pre-travel as the stock trigger.
As for the sight, yeah, typical of Sig fixed factory sights to shoot low. They do have higher/lower rear and front sights to adjust your POI to your ammo. The other option is to get adjustable rear sights. I'm not sure if this is for all models that come with factory adjustable sights but the groove for the sight is different to one that came with a fixed rear sight. Such is the case with my Elite Dark. I was going to mount a mini RDS for S&G but the mounting kit doesn't work with it.
From Sig's FAQ:
"All SIG SAUER production duty/combat pistols are set up to use a "combat" sight picture. This is where the front sight completely covers the bulls eye of the target. Using a six o'clock ("pumpkin on a post") or center mass ("half'n'half") sight picture will result in low impact. SIG SAUER, Inc sights in all non-sporting and non-target pistols for 2.5 inch groupings @ 15 yards. If you are still having trouble please contact Customer Service for further help and instruction. Please have your serial number ready. There are also very helpful free Internet sites that cover pistol group analysis. "
