A couple of guys your height run Tavors at our local BR matches and they love them.
For general plinking and running around I would recommend a Tavor. I find the XCR is quite barrel heavy, while the balance of the Tavor is great.
That said, if you're competing in 3 gun or Black Rifle matches I would recommend the XCR... While ergonomic the bullpup design makes it difficult to conduct mag changes and stoppage drills quickly... The controls are too tight into your body and you can't use peripheral vision to manipulate the weapon. No matter how well drilled you are the same amount of practice will make you faster on a conventional rifle where you can see the controls...
