The Beretta CX4 Thread

I'm on the fence about getting a CX4. I just wish it could take Glock mags as I'm sick of all the cash I have "invested" in them.

What's the usual cost of mags for the CX4 Storm in 9mm, 40, and 45?

Thanks

Does anyone know of a guy in canada that does work like Tbostic in the USA does on the HK conversions? would be nice to convert it to a folder and remove the sight bumps off the top but need it done properly

Yeah it's a TRS-25. Great little red dot. It co-witnesses fine, I just keep the rear aperture down. I can see where some ppl prefer the riser for it as I find it to be a little low. I'm thinkin of an EOTech or Aimpoint PRO for the Storm next. The TR-25 is great for the price though. 11 brightness settings so it works well in and outdoors, though the battery life isn't the greatest, you wouldn't want to leave it on. The dot isn't as crisp as I would like but it's a great budget optic, I think you would enjoy one as well if that's what you are thinking of buying

I was also on the fence about this gun a year ago but took the plunge and haven't regretted it a bit. I've got the NR 9mm version and if you shop around you can get mec gar mags for $40. I already had a Beretta 92fs inox so it worked out good for me. My CX4 is set up with a vortex sparc and the biggest problem I've had with this gun is having a big enough budget to pay for the ammo to feed it. This is a really fun gun to shoot and you won't be disappointed.

I haven't tricked mine out yet..Have an ncstar 4x32 red/green illuminated mil dot (A very nice scope for the price) and a 6-9" bipod.. Also a Mossy oak one point sling.
I Planning on putting an Acog TA01, and a better sling and of course some more magazines.

Just picked this beauty up on Monday. I actually went in to buy a CZ 527 in 7.62x39, but then I saw the Cx4 on the rack, and I simply couldn't resist.

I just ordered a Beretta barrel shroud for it today. Next I'm planning on adding a red dot, not sure what yet. Something small, and low so the iron sights can still be seen through it. I'm thinking something like a Trijicon RMR, leupold delta point, or something else of the same nature. And I'm going to put on a Inforce WML, and that'll be it... Maybe a laser.

Just a quick question.
What did your Cx4 come with? I have a feeling I didn't get everything I'm supose to.
Mine came with
-2 mags
-mag loader
-cleaning kit
-pic rail for vertical grip (the U shaped piece with pic rail)
-1 rail segment
-2 screws
-manual/warrenty card

Did you guys get 2 rail segments? Without the other rail and 2 screws I can attatach the rail for under the rifle.
And did you guys get a stock spacer?

Many from the last batch were missing one rail section (mine included) I was told to expect them in 2 - 3 weeks. Someone may correct me but stock spacers are no longer included. So, looks like you got everything less the rail.

This is what i do. I use this other piece from another sling, clip it around the lower handel, and than clip my one point sling on to it. I like it there. I prefer it further up on the gun, as opposed to back where the sling attachment piece is.

how to make screen shot

Question on the sling... will a one-point (like this one) attach to the rear sling mount or do you need to buy a swivel. The hole looks kind of small to clip directly onto. Thnx

So where are you expecting them from? Do I need to contact stoger? Or the place I bought it from? I got mine from Canadian Ma-facker, and the guy working the counter told me it only comes with one rail segment. I shrugged it off thinking I can still install the lower rail piece. But clearly its not possible without that other rail piece.
Anybody know where a guy can buy stock spacers?

Where I bought mine (Al Flaherty's) I just told them to add me to their list of waiting customers. So ya, check back with the store. He fed you BS about the rail.

Hmm...... He also told me he had one customer come back and tear a strip out of him because of it. That's why he told me before I bought it.
It's goona be funny when I go back there. I only worry because its crappy tire, and lately the gun departments service has taken a dive. Theres new people working the counter every time I go in, and they usually possess zero gun knowledge.

[/IMG]The Bushnell TR-25 will work good but if you really want to get the most out of holo-red dot sight, invest more money and go with The Leupold Delta point or the Hensdolt RSI, they are just great on it, really add for great precision... JP.

Tell me more about this optic.
I'm looking at buying a red dot for my Cx4 and I keep coming back to the deltapoint.
Dose it co-witness with the irons?
How is the dot, sharp, or blotchy?
Battery life?
Others I'm considering is the Trijicon RMR, Aimpoint micro, Eotech MRDS, and the Burris Fast Fire.
