You're allowed to use anything up to a .270 for hunting coyotes any time of the year, including the time when the archery only season is open for deer. You can carry a .270 and shoot coyotes with it all year, except when you're going bow hunting for deer.
I know all that, BUT there are also hunting bylaws in every town/city or whatever and my city has a very VERY small section that is approved for firearms hunting, and its likely on someones private property. Sooo, I will have to stick to using a non firearm for hunting in my current hunting area that is out of the gun friendly area of Niagara Falls.
