Sheep Changes Coming

Let me put some words in your mouth, it sounds like you're saying it will benefit yourself but not others. How can it be good for you but not others?

That rarely works out well....lol I never said it wouldn't be good for others. Not sure where you got that impression.

Good lord!

Are you not proposing that everyone fight this? And at the same time saying its a good thing for you? So directly how is this good for you?

It would be good for me and many others in a similar position to me with several rams under their belt that are looking to kill a really big ram. My/their odds of killing a bigger ram would be increased; in a number of years of course.. I'd love to kill a big ram one day....this would increase those odds.

Why is it that we as hunters can't get to that point without killing dinks first?!?

Plus how is this different for everyone else?

Looks like it's time to dust of the bow or the goose decoys because it isn't going to be worth heading to the mountains. Hopefully the AGMAG groups get together like they did last time and present a unified front to oppose this.

Gee...maybe leave it as is as we currently have healthy sheep populations with no sign of that changing from the current pressure.

Ok Sheep, I must be riding in the same boat as Tempest. Are you against the changes, want it to stay the same, or the changes are good in your eyes so the chances of killing a bigger ram are better?

In your first post you said it wont be worth going to the mountains, Hopefully AGMAG groups oppose this. In the second quote you said leave it as is. In the third quote you said it would be good for you. Sorry, I am confused on your position...

You realize that leaving it as is and opposing the change are the same thing, right?

Not sure where the confusion lies...just because it's good for me and others doesn't mean it's good for all or even the majority. Perhaps read it again in the morning after you've had some coffee. I'm sure your confusion can be attributed to the late hour.

It's not different for everyone else....many for sure but definitely not everyone. Perhaps you should read more carefully and stop putting words in my mouth...I suspect it would all make sense then.

I'm not confused, just asking what exactly is your position on this? Would you like to see change or not?

I could read this a million times, carefully, reclessly, stoned or straight and it wouldn't help.

What words in your mouth? You're a difficult fellow to have a dialogue with.

I must be drunk... I had no problem following Sheephunter's train of thought...

Not that I wanted to get involved with this thread since sheep hunting in Manitoba revolves around Scotsman wearing kilts and rubber boots next to cliffs! :)...I understood exactly what Sheephunter`s train of thought was too!
