Hello all
Well after cleaning the preservative off of the rifle, It looks great at first glance but as I dug deeper it became apparent that It most definitely needs work.
We all love those washers! Truth be told very creative just not sure how reliable they may be. But I do have some questions; I might know the answer to but I would like an opinion on what route to use.
First:
Once I hand torque the bolts that connect the trigger guard to the rifle I notice that without much torque I am pinching the bolt release to the stock and it will stay stuck. Would you say that pillars and bedding would fix that?
Second, I have read this entire thread twice and if I missed it I apologize but there is a lot of filler mixed with a ton of content,
Has anyone had trouble with their magazine lock not engaging? It seems as the slot on the front face of the mags are either to low to catch or too small to allow engagement.
So I have joined the crowd I love the look of the rifle and I am very happy with my first bolt action. If anyone can comment on my two issues that would be very helpful. I apologize if I have high jacked this thread I can most certainly create a new one. If that is the case please let me know.
Thank you
V
