Anyone buy an svt40 from Corwin Arms recently?

Has anyone bought one of Corwins recently listed Svt40's, I know Martin is known for selling quality milsurps but I was hoping to get some feedback on the overall condition of what he's selling as good++ & very good condition.

The pics online look nice but does anyone have one in their hands? How's the bore and chamber look?

I haven't seen his recent batch, but Martin is well-known for under reporting condition; e.g.: his "good" are usually VERY GOOD. I suspect this batch is no different...
 
IM him and ask him. He'll give you a straight up answer.

And yes, if anything, he'll under-report quality.

Already have been in touch with him and will be buying one, if the svt bayonet I bought of him earlier this year is an indication I should be very pleased. I'm looking for a real nice condition one for my second svt40.

I saw some of his stuff at the Edmonton gun show this past weekend. It all looked top notch. I didn't handle anything, but it was way better than the Canadian Tire stuff they have in Leduc. I talked to one of the guys, they seem very up front and honest. Although I have never dealt with them.

I agree, went in on sunday when it died down a bit, had a chance to chat with the guys from Corwin, and they impressed the hell out of me, everything looked good.

They sold all their SVT's and bayonets at the show, but I just dropped the hammer on their site. Not many of those Polish SVT-40's around.

i could be wrong but im pretty sure every item corwin brings in is each hand picked. Martin is great guy to deal with. corwin has excellent customer service. im sure you will be happy.
 
I put my order in on Saturday and i haven't gotten it yet, i will post something when it comes in. Martin sent me an email saying he will select a nice one for me.... May the force be with him. I read alot of reviews from happy people saying he had the best goods. its my first online rifle purchase so we'll see when she gets here. I am totally excited though !!!
 
Agreed, I picked up a very nice svt from him at the last Burnaby show yesterday. Really nice looking rifle, very nice bore and stock. Ran a quick patch through it when I got home, I'll take some pics when I get a moment this week. Cheers Martin!
