Hi all. So I have a pretty health .22 collection, a Beretta collection and a budding milsup rifle collection but I would like to get into shotguns more. I have a few 12 gauges but would like people's opinions as to what is a good shotgun to add, to really get my new collection off the ground?
So far I have a couple of Cooey 84s, a Beretta o/u Silver Pigeon, a Mossberg bolt action and a 500. Any suggestions as to what should be next? The next shotgun would be the last one for this year so I wanted to get something nice with some history. I was thinking about a Browning A5 because I do not have a semi auto 12 gauge or a Winchester 1897 but would consider a model 12 because they are easier to come by. I have looked around and stores such as Epps and Shooters have both in stock. If the decision was yours, would you choose the A5 or the model 12? Or is there something else I should be looking at, a SxS perhaps. I would like something that is not imposible to find? I could start hunting for the rare items once the collection becomes a bit more established. Thanks for your thoughts.
