Wow ! Now I kinda regret selling mine. Hmm ! Will it be in production soon ? or just your own project.
Already have a few prototype designs for a buttstock adapter to take an AR buffer tube. Don't really want to show the proof-of-concept adapter (I have currently) as it reduces the OAL to sub 26 inches, and it is super basic, but a lot easier to install than the current wood buttstock.Nice now all it needs is a better stock. If this is just your own project did you at least put your 3d design on a open source website like thingiverse so that other people can enjoy this handguard
Absolutely, that can work too. Many people already do it to a variety of their firearms, especially if people have a more traditional approach to preserving the factory stock/look.Cool project but why not just screw or bolt a section of rail to the wooden stock it comes with?
Once I shimmed mine it's been tight and reliable.
Don't get me wrong I'm stoked on your project and I'm a "tweaker" by nature....![]()
Because I can makes sense to me.
I don't suppose you have a rossi 92 in your stable? I'd love to see someone in Canada develop a light weight but strong railed foreend for the Rossi 92's.
I guess my "why not" comment was not really directed at you but more the average nut with a backpacker who wants to attach a light.
Cool project, small market. ( sounds like that's not your motivation though)
