NO YOU CANNOT use it in S Ontario. See the hunting regs. You better hope you are never checked by a CO if you do.

Please think before you post the suggestion of a half mile shot!!! Nova Scotia is not Alberta or Saskatchewan and our pubic ranges are 100 yards. We don't grow up shooting at long distances. I'd guess that a tiny percentage of NS hunters would be practiced and capable out to 300 yards. I doubt that a Norinco semi is much more than 200 to 250 yard rifle, with an excellent shooter at the helm. Respectfully, BF
