PGW coyote

:HFU: would love to get a Timberwolf...saving my pennies and hopefully when i can stretch the legs on my .308 out to 800ish yards...maybe ill be able to justify the .338/Timberwolf combo :) just need to get one before a live in gf who will try saying no hahaha

great looking guns guys! I would imagine that the stocks are interchangeable between the folder and the A5 right?

Was there a manual that came with the rifle?

EC yes after looking thru the case N not just oogling my new rifle I found a manual. HAHA. :p

p.s. tuktu/caribou are no long safe anywhere near me ... ;)

I believe PGW makes their own for the Timberwolf and Coyote. However they use an existing product for their LRT-3, which is another Canadian Company based out of Montreal? I'm not completely sure of the accuracy of these statements.

The company isn't a site sponsor, so I'm not sure how kosher it is to advertise for them. But you did ask. So google "Cadex Defence".

I have been strongly considering saving the 5k or so required for one of these bad boys as my first and most likely only (at that price) precision rifle. What kind of groups are you guys getting with these rifles? Do you guys think its worth the 4x or so price of the 700 5R (which is my other idea for a precision rifle). I have shot the Timberwolf before so I know that these are great rifles.

Yes they are interchangeable, but there is a magwell adapter used on the A5 (I looked into replacing my A5 on my Timberwolf with the folder when it came out and was told it was indeed doable.)

Does anyone know if PGW is the only source for the coyotes folding stock? I'm considering the folder to replace my A2. Thanks.

I have the PGW Coyote folder and this is the best of what is out there in my option. Have tried the Cadex, AI, XLR etc and think that this is the top pick to get. Just wish the older folders had one extra set of holes drilled for moving the NV rail back a notch. The new shorter scopes can use a bit more rail closer to the scope. Will try grab a picture of this :D

Edit - wish for an extra 2 sets of holes as they have this very nicely set up for adjustments... Don't have anything available for the third bolts in the NV rail as it sits right now.

I bought a Coyote this fall from Steve and Ross. Wonderful guys, amazing product...almost made me want to empty the safe since nothing else in there cloverleafs like this beauty. I secretly curse them and Chris for the dent in the bank account but only half heartedly. This is the first purchase I have made without a hint of buyer's remorse.

Nay sayers will disagree, but the product and customer service is exceptional. If you want a custom, buy a custom...but each one of these is a custom job. Start to finish a whole shop of measurement obsessed compulsives from OCDs anonymous making magic 1 item at a time. If I may add...the cleanest shop I have ever seen...for a production facility.

Awwwww shucks.... Glad you're liking it buddy.

I've got one of the three titanium Coyote's (or as they named it in this case, Coyoti) that PGW ever put out, and can honestly say that it's one of the two most consistent and accurate rifles I've ever owned. They're not cheap, but in this case you really do get what you pay for. Fit, finish, top quality everything -- and mighty small groups. It's one rifle I'll never sell.

Yeah that is a rare one!!! There is yours, another .260 with a carbon wrap barrel in the US, 90210 ZIP code too believe it or not and my 1 of 1 LH Coyoti. The early Coyote and Coyoti actions used a .695" bolt diameter and 1.355" receiver width. The current Coyote uses a .745" bolt and 1.5" receiver width so it can share parts with the Timberwolf.

I think I just messed my shorts  I've dreamed of owning a LH Coyote, but didn't think one would/did ever exist. If you ever feel the need to part with it you will have to look no further than here;) I know, I'm.....:onCrack:
