Where to buy a bloop tube

I had to look that up, because when you said "bloop tube" the first thing that came to mind was one of these:

and I thought "I'm pretty sure those were centerfire..."

Essentially it's a tube fixed to the end of the barrel with the purpose of extending the sight radius. There are some that would argue it helps with accuracy performance but the primary use is the extension of the sight radius.

In your neighborhood I would talk with someone at Freedom Ventures. There has to be someone at the AMA small bore rifle section that could point you in the right direction.
Peter at Hirsch Precision is also in your neck of the woods too.

Edit: Larrys guns dot com has a lot of competitive shooting stuff. He is in Maine and ships to Canada. The same type of stuff in Montreal, the name and business escapes me right now. (cbiables?)

What rifle are you planning on putting it on?

Any competitive smallbore target shooting supplier will have options. Also it's not a controlled product so it can be shipped out of US and Europe.

My first tube was made by a local machinist who also is a target shooter. I have another one with an integrated tuner which I ordered direct from Germany.

I may ask Sean the next time I see him. As for the AMA smallbore section there aren't that many of us left, just me and a few others, LOL. I've found the odd one on line and either they are out of stock or don't ship to Canada. Thanks for the info on Larry's Guns, but I will look them up, thanks.

If your looking for a tuner call harrels precision. Its the one killoughs sell. I ordered mine direct . They were excellent to deal with.

While extending the sight radius may not make the rifle more accurate, it will make the shooter more accurate... Hence why most competition pistols have longer slides than their more basic versions - longer slide = longer sight radius = more accurate shooter.

This is what one looks like, for those who are going WTF is a bloop tube!? but dont wanna actually google it...
