what type of finish should be on a sks that appears non issued ,should it be the BBQ paint finish or a blued finish im thinking if it was a as new non issued rifle it would be a blued finish.What everyone toughts on this.

It would depend what you mean by unissued. There is unissued from original and unissued from arsenal refurb. Unissued from original would be a blued finish. Unissued after arsenal refurb can be blued or BBQ.

I've bought 6 or so SKS rifles from Westrifle, and have no complaints. The 1949's mags were internally neutered (follower bar extension), which is a really nice way to reduce capacity to the legal limit on a collector item.

So far I have bought an SKS, Laminate Mosin 91/30 (back when they had them), and an SVT-40 (with silver bolt carrier) and had a great experience with all three! Quick and efficient communication and fast shipping. I would definitely buy from them again.
