The Modern Hunter Rifle UPDATED December 10 2015

This is awesome news can hardly wait to hear some range reports now.

Now I really messed up I walked into a store Sunday they had a 25% off sale on select rifle happening walked out with a new bolt action RMEF Rem 700 XCR11 in 25-06.

Its now going to take just a bit longer to come up with the gun cash to order one of these beauties guess I could always put my XCR-L up for sale... :)

A wonderful day for not only ATRS and us nutters, but Canada too. A homegrown, beautifully manufactured state of the art rifle that all of us can be extremely proud of! The advantages to Canadians of a domestically built and serviced rifle are huge! Congrats Rick and crew! All the best!

Outstanding. I would have kept my 1st 75 preorder even if it was restricted. My ATRS AT15 needed a big brother. Haters gonna hate but Who Dares, Wins.

I expected to hear epoxy7 celebrating this good news for atrs. I'm sure his internet connection is just down for the time being.

It's not the internet. I think him and Mildcustom are on a date tonight.

Congrats ATRS! I'm glad I was lucky to get in on the first 75 list. Now to shop for glass...Vortex, NF, or Leupold...

Check out US Optics. They aren't as customizable as they used to be, but still more customizable than any "production" brand. They are the most solid and robust scope out there. I wish I could find the picture of one of their scopes with each end propped up by a 2X4 and a pickup truck's tire (yes, with the truck still attached) on top of the scope.

However, there is still the Nightforce that took a round of 7.62x39 and kept on trucking (no pun intended in the relationship to the USO).

I can't wait to se end user accuracy reports, if it get .75 moa or better i will be putting up my 10tr and a couple other rifle for sale and i will try to get this! From the pictures atrs posted all the target seem .5 moa but they all had flyers opening it up to about 1.5 :s

I mean at 1.5 is not good enough for the price imo for the quality of barrel they got on there, i mean i am getting 1.35 with my bf socom 18 with stock norc barrel and Remington accu-tip match or something.

I'm very excited as well but let see some accuracy/performance tests first! $3-7k is a lot of cash :)

I'm a hunter that gets out of the truck as soon as possible and pack my rifles in a long ways.

Due to this I do not want tons of add on just the lightest configuration with a folding stock possible.

Figure this will keep me on the lower price range so I'm not as worried about pricing want top accuracy though.
