New Kel Tec Sub2k Gen 2

I didn't watch the long vid, but is there any mention anywhere of getting this generation to work better with 115gn loads? I recall the Gen 1 has cycling issues with light (cheap) factory rounds.

This looks very nice. If you own a Glock 17/19, I would think this would be a fantastic companion piece. The foreend looks very slim and tiny, perhaps too much so. I too wonder about mounting the optic on top. This thing seems like a natural for a little red-dot sight. But I wonder how easy this will be with both monsterous iron-sights in the way, and more importantly the top-folding stock. Is there a way to mount something on a rail and have it hinged so it swivels off to the side when the stock closes (no, not the indexing forearm.)?

Arrgh! Spent a lot of money making my gen 1 look pretty close to this. Except for my indexing foregrip (which allows me to run an optic and still fold) ... gen 2 looks like way better value ...

We shall see.

As a marketing professor of mine used to say, "value is the intersection of price and quality".

Are you sure about shipping to Canada? I checked their website, everything I could find for the sub 2000 cannot be shipped outside of the US.

HNNNNGGGG I've always had an eye for a SUB2K, but when I have the cash they're nowhere to be found... I really hope that the price stays reasonable.

Not sure what's changed. Had my upgrades for 2 years. It's just a picatinny rail mount that spins. The guy must have had some sort of problem.

I wonder how they will extend the barrel for Canada while still using the tread on front sight? I guess they will either have to thread the extension or step it down a bit to allow the sight to slide down to meet the existing threads....
Here's some more pictures and a shot of the other gun on the table in that video, The CMR30 which looks like a sub version of their .22mag pistol.
