Accuracy seems to vary among models.... Spent half a year working behind the gun counter at Bass Pro, everyone I talked too who owned MR1's were consistently getting 1"-2.5" groups @100 with factory ammo, the ergonomics of the MR1 are bad from my experience.
Ive yet to see a video of an XCR ( a 2000+ dollar gun) getting better groups than my SKS rifle... let along function right... XCR's are SUPER comfy to handle though, very light.
A buddy of mine just bought a T97 with a flat top receiver and 7x scope, it seems to shoot around 2-3" @ 100, THE TRIGGER IS GOD AWFUL!! , VERY comfy to shoulder, easy to disassemble, cycles reliably except if your not careful about how you pop in the mag and charge it; youll get these horrible double chambers and cartridges falling out of the receiver and getting wedged in the body of the gun.
Moral of the story, if u have around a $1000 budget and want a semi .223, id get the T97 ONLY if you want a bullpup. id get the MR1 if you really want to drop $1800 on a .223......... and Id recommend a .223 Vz58 with a mag well adapter to fit AR mags.
