Modern hunter from ATRS is officially non restricted!!!

I'm sure it will be accurate. It's reliability that I'm more concerned about. It's not easy for a small company to develop a new weapons system and work out all design flaws prior to the release. They don't have the budget to conduct the kind of testing that a large manufacturer like HK, FN or IMI can afford. At least it seems that ATRS is taking their time and not rushing the gun to the market, as the release date is December 2015.

^^^^^^^ you got it

after waiting a year to save for the purchase on the credit card, then waiting 9 months for atrs to build the thing.

not all of us are millionaires cara, and i like to save before i buy rather than digging myself out of a credit card debt.

If only more ppl would understand that 18% interest rate on CC isn't sound financial management.

If anything, get yourself a mortagage line of credit @ 2-3% and use the equaty you have and pay it off w/o getting dry-arse-rapped.

I have 5 CC, the highest interest my cards bear is 7.99%unlimitted... If you ask any CC Cie, they will bring your interest to the lowest setting... People should learn how to play with these Cie... Sure if you say nothing, they will rip you off badly, this is the nature of the beast... Just saying. JP.

With all the accuracy worries maybe ATRS should supply a target shot by them with quality ammunition like many other companies do. It gives a basic idea of what sort of accuracy to expect for the buyer and would probably help people decide to buy one if the group is small enough.

Already been done. Check the threads in the ATRS forum. Accuracy looks very promising.

Every new stuff that hit the market have a period to remove the bugs, after the first year out, a Cie like ATRS, should have no problems succeding in that task... JP.

And 8% is still f%$#@^ insane, not sure who you're trying to convince here JP...

Different strokes for different folks. When it comes to finances everyone thinks differnt. I know people that spend evey cent they have and can borrow because their last few generations of relatives no one lives past 60, who am I tell them to not enjoy life to the fullest.

Last I remember the 75 were custom serial numbers, then they added an additional 25 or so more. I don't know the exact number, however, the intial release is not Dec 2015. That is all I was trying to express.

Dont want to convince no one, just saying, you can use your CC in conjunction with a line of credit and at the end pay almost nothing in interest... Negligent peoples will pay huge premiums, used carefully and with good basic calculations, this credit stuff is great for aquiering stuff playing with others money...
We are not looking for a perfect answer here, we are looking for the most advantageous way of doing business in a competitive world, using tools that are available to all of us... JP.

Well the advantage to the next available batch of Modern Hunters becoming available in December 2015 is that we have almost a year to save; with the bonus of the first #75+ buyers confirming that this rifle does actually perform as expected.

The ATRS Modern Hunter is really a huge deal for the Canadian sport shooting/hunting community when you consider all of the other NR AR type rifle options available in Canada (not to mention it's 'Made in Canada'). I mean look at the option of re-barreling an XCR-M (over a $1,000 upgrade to a $2,800 rifle), this will bring up the cost to more then a basic ATRS MH and about as much as one with the CFW (Carbon Fibre Wrapped) barrel option and in the end you still only have a Robinson Arms rifle and all that entails.

If a High Powered, Non-Restricted, Reliable, MOA+ Accurate (+ = or better), Semi.-Auto., AR Style Rifle is what you've been praying for, consider your prayers answered. All that with exceptional options too, thank you ATRS...

Cheers D
