Ruger SR9

I have one. I only comment on stuff that I own and use . The gun is exactly what they claim. It's narrow in the hand, the reversible backstrap does make a good difference. The trigger is their latest version and they really stepped up to the plate, I love it. The gun runs everything I throw at it. For the price point it is a no brainer. I have more expensive handguns but they are not any better than the SR9. You won't be disappointed.

There is a Ghost trigger upgrade that is very cheap and easy to do. Just Google Ghost Ultimate 3.5 trigger. And as for holsters ,there are lots of them that will work.

Anyone comment on how it's performed with high (+1000) round counts?

I have a copy of Guns and Ammo where they took a SR9 and ran over 12,000 rounds through it I a weekend. Not one single jam/failure. This review they did inspired me to buy the pistol on the first place.

I have a SR-9, for the price a decent gun. I like how it feels in my hand. If I had not purchased a CZ 85 Combat after, I would likely still be as thrilled with my SR-9 as when I first got it.

When I shoot my CZ I consistently with the same reloads as shot in my SR-9 shoot group sizes about 50% smaller. The CZ is head and shoulders better as far as accurracy for about $150 more than the SR-9.

Performance wise my SR-9 has been flawless, never had any kind of jam or stoppage so from that aspect it has been great

i picked one up and like it.
ive never had any problems with it. ive yet to have any failures with mine and im over 1k rounds down the pipe.
i like that its a smaller in the hand gun, or feels like it with the narrow frame.
compared to my glock or my M&P ill still pick my M&P over it, BUT - for the price you cant go wrong.
its the 9mm that i recommend to people when im asked.
inexpensive at under $500 and well built, what more can you ask for.
extra mags are plentiful and holsters are easily had.
ive got the stainless one and im really hankering to get the black one just for the nice look it has.

9e is $459 at P&D
I got mine (sr9) at Frontier when the $ was better for $450. They are OK guns.....not great guns, but definitely OK for the price.
