I saw that! He could have probably gotten the $675 asking price just for the sniper rifle without the scope/mount and the other complete SVT40 thrown in for free! Wish I had seen that before it was gone in record time!

The store where seller bought it is known for making ''home made'' field notch..
I ask for pic of the notch but he never get back to me lol
The rifle that got sold... if it was truly 1942 rifle with rails "converted" into sniper then.. how do I put it... it was a huge mistake. 1942 rifle with rails and no notch is much scarcer than 1942 sniper.

No notch - nowhere to go for the cross pin.If I have rails and no notch , cannot be fixed classic SVT scope?

I dont see how thats going to tell you if its an authentic sniper. Its a start though anyway.
