Any interest in cheap .303?

Well I was at the store today and I am pretty sure I saw $32 on the PRVI box of 303!

Not sure if the guy said it was going up to $37 a box or if it had just been bumped to $32.

Regardless, he's retail so add your tax!

Anyone else post up some current pricing for the 303 gold?

Crappy Tire is $34.50 for Remington 180s
CanadaAmmo and AmmoSupply are out of stock. Both listed PRVI for $23.99

I get mine at gun shows, and won't pay more then $20 a box. I've seen Winchester 180 grains at Lebarons for $20, but that was 6 months ago.
Walmart had them listed for $25.99, also 6 months ago. Bass Pro wants $39.99 for the same box. CT wants around $30 for the Remington stuff.

Yep, a trip to Bass pro had me scratching my head $40 for 20 rds, then a trip to CT I saw old stock at $25 and newer Remington stock at $35. I bought all 7 boxes of their old stock right then and there.

Since my cast loads are costing me about 10 cents a pop I guess that's my idea of "cheap match grade 303".

So I'm probably ml not going to like the price but I'll keep following this thread!

my local gun store (SFRC)usually has PRVI and S&B fairly cheap. last time i bought, one or the other was under $20 and i bought all they had. discovered that my SMLE absolutely LOVES S&B. 4 inch groups at 100 with irons and bad eyes, winchester super was all over the paper think 12 inch shot pattern. still want to see this new stuff.

Sure, rub it in why don't ya?;) Your mold is flat base too I'll bet, and the Easter Bunny hand delivers a years supply of gas checks. Yah, well so what!? My $2 per round doesn't lead my barrel! {:evil:...gotta let a guy feel better somehow?:p}

i paper jacket all my cast, no leading, no gas checks. discounting equipment, yeah, around 10 cents, maybe less.

Do you use really thin paper? I tested some paper wrapping for pistol rounds and ended up adding 3-5 thousandths of an inch to the diameter at which point the tips would have been to big. The process though was dead easy so I'd definitely do it again.
