Looking for Ruger SR-22 deals - Please link any sales or specials please

the stock barrel on all but the "target" or the SR have skinny barrels on them. Also loose chambers. Not known for accuracy, and they look funny when put on built rifles.

the SR barrel is a nice compromise between light weight, cost and looks/function.

If you have lots of money, you can build a whole complete 10/22 that has zero Ruger parts in it. Or you can do 2 or 3 small but important mods to a completely stock one and enjoy it for years.

Is there a thread that lists all the required parts to do a build from scratch like you guys are talking about?? I just need a list of necessary parts so I know what I'm up for if I choose this option.

I'm also trying to decide between a new SR-22 or building.

Ok ya I saw that. I misunderstood something I think. Thought there was a way to build the rifle from aftermarket parts WITHOUT buying a 10/22 to start from.

the SR22 is the best 550$ I have ever spent on a gun, you would be hard pressed to find something better dollar to dollar. I have not modded it in anyway and have had nothing but positive shoots with this plinker
