has anyone tried instaling one of the Magwedge quick rails on a VZ58?

Rails are here ... I am working on the assembly instructions and will ship asap.
The basics are the same as the SKS KwikRail:
1. Remove rear sight.
2. Remove rear pin
3. attach rail at the rear sight base with split pin provided
4. Run the KwikPin supplied in the kit to hold the rail to the rear receiver cover
The only difference is that the rear pin can be removed without modification being necessary so the rifle can be returned to its original configuration.

Yup me too!! Got the rifle all ready and waiting. Scope has been removed from the burris pepr it was in. I'm ready to rock.
How do you get rear pin out of receiver? I think that's the only part I haven't taken apart on a vz58

Right on! Thanks! That's what I was thinking but I thought I better ask. Trick is not to lose the bearing and spring. Lol. I'll wrap it up in a rag to try and contain it. Lol

Any chance you'd be interested in doing a full length upper rail? I wonder if you could somehow make a rail that is both the upper handguard and the scope mount combined.
