I have 4 rounds of Remington Thunderbolt .22LR ammo from the early 21st century. I am selling them as individual pieces to serious collectors.
Beautiful brass casings with original "Rem" headstamp and 40 grains of real lead bullet. True heirloom quality. You will be proud to show your grandchildren a real .22LR round.
$500/ea (plus shipping)

If I buy all four will you ship free?

I overbought on M22- not the best ammo in my guns as it turns out. Anyone near Nelson, BC that wants to buy either 500 rnds or 1000 rnds off me, drop me a PM. Will not ship.

And some idiot was getting mad cause I had a brick on the EE for $75. Don't forget we pay 13% tax on that too buddy.

Just got 5 boxes of Winchester 222 36 gr hp 1280 fps at my local Can Tire 12.99 a box. Not a big fan of 22 hp but beggers can't be choosers.

The reason why there is no 22lr ammo is because of the people who stock them up by the tens of thousands - combined with the ammo industry that didn't realize people would stock them up by the tens of thousands

I was in C.Tire Nanaimo yesterday and they had lots of 22 ammo. I didn't buy any cause I have a few thousand rounds an didn't want to be a greedy hoarder LOL.

CCI claims they are at max production making 4 million rounds of .22LR per DAY.

People have been doing that forever. t is nothing new. Hell I was talking to a few older guys the other day looking for 22wmr ammo because they were on the last case of the stuff they had bought in the 70's. They didn't mention how many newer cases they had.

I respectfully disagree. I could be wrong but my feeling is that some retailers - kudos to whoever doesn't do it! - take advantage of the situation by slowing down the flow and continuously increasing the price. If a store keeps only 100 bricks in the "freezer", they can make more profit by selling the same stuff for higher price a month or so later. And they know, the ammo will sell eventually. There is no advantage for the average shooter of buying large quantities of ammo for the same reason as when gas prices drop, nobody fills up the bath tub in order to save money.

Was in the lgs yesterday getting some scope rings for my ar and checked on 22lr. He had AE 400 round bricks $38 remington viper $50 500 @stingers for
$13 ouch.Prices are high every where I look.Glad I stocked up when I did.I think eventually they will price themselves out and people will stop paying these inflated prices. At current prices I would only buy 1 brick to use that day If I didn't have any on hand. There's some greed and gouging going on for sure.
