150$ china brand SKS at a gun show 2 years ago...not even tax on it..spotless and looked like new..I shoulda bought all 3....

My best on a red rifle would probably be a 1941 izhevsk svt-40 with 340 7.62x54r corrosive rounds, hard case and oil can for $330 bucks.

So, you have probably the best most reliable red rifle.

1951 Polish M44 for $425. Still has cosmo in barrel. First and rarest year of production.

1954 Russian Tula. Mixed in crate filled with refurbs. All original matching numbers. All markings where they should be as they should be. Immaculate blue. Amazing chrome bore. Pretty sure she was unissued. $150 boxing day deal.

My best score was a SKS-D... $109 brand new from Lever Arms. Mind you, that was 1990... Wish I had bought a $199 Garand instead...

Mosin was only bought on CGN like several months ago ( Guess college kid needed money ), and that 85$ SKS mind you the bayonet lug was cut off was bought 15 years ago.

1927 tikka stepped barrel mosin for 150+ tax. mint 1944 sako m39 for 300 . 1940 tula capture sniper repro and a 1944 tikka 91/30 barreled action with 200 rds of ammo for 275. 1942 svt sniper complete wit repro mount and scope for 300...i am allways on the hunt.
