Who here has found the best score on a red rifle?

My best on a red rifle would probably be a 1941 izhevsk svt-40 with 340 7.62x54r corrosive rounds, hard case and oil can for $330 bucks.

1954 Russian Tula. Mixed in crate filled with refurbs. All original matching numbers. All markings where they should be as they should be. Immaculate blue. Amazing chrome bore. Pretty sure she was unissued. $150 boxing day deal.

I think I found the WORST score! Paid $550 for a M38/38 at a gun show. Didn't do my research, total newb, totally my own fault!
Not even a rare one!

I had a feeling that one was going to get discussed!! Good thing you now have smarter friends to help you out!

My best score was a SKS-D... $109 brand new from Lever Arms. Mind you, that was 1990... Wish I had bought a $199 Garand instead...

1927 tikka stepped barrel mosin for 150+ tax. mint 1944 sako m39 for 300 . 1940 tula capture sniper repro and a 1944 tikka 91/30 barreled action with 200 rds of ammo for 275. 1942 svt sniper complete wit repro mount and scope for 300...i am allways on the hunt.
