1911 jammed open with round in chamber

There is no live round in the chamber! HOWEVER, the case is stuck. As it turns out I will be returning it after exhausting every single damned option without ruining chances of a refund/return.
I've been working overnights 12-14 hours a day and have neglected to keep this updated. However I shall update as I get my ATT and return it.
Cheers,
Best decision IMO.

Good luck and hope there is little damage..

sorry to hear about your gun
I had similar with my P762.
using surplus ammo and after round went down range the casing would get stuck in barrel and jam the slide similar to yours. I needed to allow to cool and ram my sks down barrel to un jam it.
turns out it was the ammo switched ammo type and so far no issues...maybe you got a bad batch of ammo. when you get your replacement gun try another type of ammo the ammo you have stop using it and have a professional inspect it, as it may be defective in some way.
best of luck
Glenn.

LOL
sorry guys I'm still fighting off the flu
yes during the first time out with my P762 with the coated surplus ammo after a few shots the round stuck in the barrel and I called over the range officer who assisted me in using the cleaning rod from sks and removing the stuck casing from the barrel..
I was very ill with the flu when I posted that and missed the cleaning rod...oops, though would be kinda funny to see someone at the range (safely no live rounds) with sks in one hand and P762 in the other trying to loosen the slide of the P762.
sorry again for oops
Glenn.
