I don't see any chipping on the back of the Hammer but I did notice some paint scratched off on the Pistol grip, I then noticed it is right where my Wedding Ring is resting when I hold the grip........the only time I will ever take it off will be at the Range....lol.

Yeah they put some coating or a paint on it. I wonder if Berettas have this also. I thought I had regular glueing until I noticed it under the slide rails also. Maybe I can post some pics in here, but not sure if I'm not a contributing member
The neat thing about the Girsan's is all Beretta parts fit in them...or at least most of them so replacement parts should never be an issue.
Just curious does yours shoot low at 10-25 yards? I'm about 6 inches LOW at 25 yards and that is aiming dead Center at the target. I have 700 rounds of 115 gr FMJ's to use up and I will have to be using Kentucky Windage now but I read this is a common issue with all Beretta 92 or equivalent pistols because they were built to run heavier 147 G&R NATO rounds
Nope, if I was using a 6 o'clock hold the bullets would be in the dirt. I always shoot dead Center on a target, but now I have to shoot at the 12 o'clock on the target
Well that is odd....usually the mistake people make is using a 6 o'clock hold which means low impact.
NATO 9mm is 124gr so your 115gr would be pretty much the same. Could try a taller rear sight.....or is that shorter....lol
I replaced the rear on one of mine with a ninety-two, took some fitting if the sight as it was a bit larger then the slot.
Well I'll just have to try different ammo and hope it goes higher, or someday get adjustable rear sights. I like the 3 dot sights so I don't want to file down the front site or anything
Yup exactly, but remember mine is the Compact model, 4.3 inch barrel instead of 4.9 for the full sized and I suppose if I can't find a recoil spring in the future I can just get a new full-sized slide and barrel as the frame is the same size, and I am good to go

Yup exactly, but remember mine is the Compact model, 4.3 inch barrel instead of 4.9 for the full sized and I suppose if I can't find a recoil spring in the future I can just get a new full-sized slide and barrel as the frame is the same size, and I am good to go

Regarding your POI issues. Beretta's were designed to "shoot the dot", i.e. the dot in the front sight should be your POA. That being said, with my Girsan Compact and AE 124g, I have to hold a little low to get proper POI at 25 yards.

Well I was with 2 guys when I shot it the first time, experienced shooters, well one is the Range Officer, and it shot low for all of us. Those 2 head shots look WAY low. 20 years ago I had 3500 rounds total through my Ruger P-85 and the dots lined up put the bullets exactly where they were supposed to go. I can live with this for 2 reasons, I have only tried the Russian Barnaul 115 FMJ so far but next time I will try some are my 115 JHP's and the fact I read tons of people's stories off Google that Beretta like heavier ammo and most shoot low. Even some military guys from the U.S. were saying this, haha so if I didn't read that I would probably be returning it, but I will just learn to put the front sight dot a full dot higher than the read dots and it was bang on. But can't wait to try other ammo with it, even some American Eagles might make a difference

I think there are very FEW of us who actually bought the Compact MC. Even at a bench rest this thing was way low. I am going to have to try a heavier grain and I would prefer it to shoot a little higher like yours than inches too low like mine. My Ruger P-85 was bang on with those 3 dots lined up and I always like to aim Dead Center on any target. It drives me nuts to aim at 6 or 12 o'clock.
I'm a pretty steady shooter as you can see. No flinching

Lots of used 92's on the EE for around $600-650, no tax. Good reviews on the Girsan but you might lose a lot of money on resale if you go to sell it. I'd rather buy the used 92, but to each their own.
One just popped up, $625 shipped with extra grips.

Please don't take the below comment's as criticism.
Flinching is only a small part of potential problems with POI. Your video gives me some indications about your shooting, enough for me to say it's probably not only the gun.
Repeat: there were 3 of us shooting it. We QUICKLY learned it is impacting at least 6 inches low even at 10 yards. I was a Brinks guard 14 years ago, I KNOW how to shoot with more hands on training than the RCMP have! I don't know what else to tell you except not all guns shoot the EXACT SAME WAY, not even 2 guns of the same model and caliber. Also take a look at the other guys target, THAT IS LOW. Also simply Google "Beretta shooting low" and see how many results you get
Got mine for $450. The reason I didn't want to pay 3-400 more is because if it breaks I don't think I will bother fixing it, or if I have to move, And have to sell it fast for some reason, then I know I am taking a hit on price no matter what I have. So this way I don't risk losing too much if I cannot sell a Beretta
