I just downloaded BCRA membership form. Its still reading 2014. Any fee changes for 2015 before I send it in?
Look back in this thread Edd has offered up some rifles to use.Sounds like something I'd definitely enjoy immensely, I get the feeling my hunting rifle and 10X scope may not be up to the task, and probably look a little out of place in that crowd. Too bad

Yep, I spotted the $30 intro membership on page 2. That is why I was asking about any increase for 2015. Thanks. In case you're not aware there is a $30 introductory membership for new members, if the form you are looking at doesn't show that, pm me your email and I'll send the latest mailout.
I'm in the same boat but I'm thinking what the hell. I'm coming out with my .308 Win hunting rig. Loner rifles have been offered, just bring factory ammo.Sounds like something I'd definitely enjoy immensely, I get the feeling my hunting rifle and 10X scope may not be up to the task, and probably look a little out of place in that crowd. The first year I shot this match my magazine malfunctioned right out of the gate and I shot the whole weekend single loading.Seriously thinking "what the hell" and trying out this event as well.
Question: How much of a disadvantage would my single-shot set-up be for this? Has anyone tried this without a magazine setup?
In reading the course of fire, it looks like there's only one stage with a maximum time between target exposures - all the other stages have a minimum time of 5-10 seconds, which should be (almost) enough to reload and get back behind the rifle again, and maybe even get in a breath or two...
Note: the course of fire instructions would benefit from some proofreading - there are a few inconsistencies in the document between the stage descriptions and the procedures for the stage - e.g. Stage 9 - Pick Your Poison: Description is:
"Ten (10) exposure of five (5) seconds",
while the Procedure reads:
"... competitor is to fire one shot per three second exposure for a total of fifteen exposures."
(Not trying to put unpleasant liquids in anyone's cornflakes; just trying to put my way-too-detail-oriented mind to a helpful purpose...)
Am I interpreting the entry form correctly as $125 for 2 days + $20 for Friday = $145 total, or is Friday included in the $125?
Thanks in advance for clarifying.
I still only see an entry form for the 2014 match. Is there a new form for 2015 somewhere that I can't see on the website?
