2015 BC Precision Rifle Championship June 19-21, 2015

Shooting C7s with 3.4x C79 Elcans soldiers have been know to win Open Class Precision Rifle matches at NSCC (not the whole thing but individual serials).

Also nothing will prep you for next year like actually going through the motions of the competition. Everything from range commands to scoring is easier and less stressful the second time. People need to think of their first time at any competition as a note taking shake out, if you come to learn the first time you are in a better position to come to win the second time.

The limited competitive is all you need ! ....BCRA associate if you plan on shooting more then one match or attended practices

Ed
Might want to double check this mate. Last year at Service Rifle it was only open to Military and Non Canadians for Limited Competitive. I don't remember changing anything at the AGM...?

Thanks but I don't own a rifle or a scope capable of competing in this event. When I do, I'll enter for sure. So watching will have to suffice for the time being.

Two people can share one rifle, only one person shoots at one time. I don't think I'll make the Chiliwack match but I'll be at both Nanaimo matches. I don't have a partner and would share my rifle. You would need 90 rounds of fgmm 175gr.

Since this match is in the rebuilding phase and trying to increase interest/attendance, the JSA Tactical team has decided to add a little incentive to come out and participate. ;)

We will give away 20 small/rear cordura JSA Tactical shooting bags.

The first 20 shooters who register for the 2015 BC Precision Rifle Championships will receive a small/rear shooting bag.

There will be a selection of colors.......first come, first serve.........;)

I will get the names of the first 20 people to register from the match organizers and people can come and see me at the match and claim their shooting bag.

Small/Rear Cordura Bag:

Note: On the off chance that the match is cancelled, this offer will be voided.

Thx. SKBY.

I use an 8-32 sightron. I have seen plenty of 5-25. but if memory serves I don't think I adjuster above 15x the coerce is not really favorable to high powered scopes.

So a fixed 10x would be competitive?
Oh, another question. Is access to the Vokes range only during competitions?

Vokes range is only accessible with a BCRA membership..........and even then only on scheduled practice days or matches.......

A fixed 10X would be competitive.......I did pretty well with a fixed 16X Leupold MK4 for a number of years.........IMHO high magnification can be more of a hindrance in this style of competition.........I usually shoot between 12X and 15X............And last years course of fire had a magnification limit of 25X........
