95% of hunters cannot afford an extra few bucks per 20 box of rifle ammo? Seriously? Maybe you can barely afford hunting, but the majority of hunters could easily afford the extra cost of using non toxic. Don't worry, the sky won't fall if there is an outright ban on lead.
If you would have taken the time to
research the facts before forming your opinion that the lead shot ban for waterfowl chopped down hunter numbers you would have seen that hunter numbers in Canada have been on a steady decline since the late 70's and more of an uneven decline in the US since around the same time. After looking at the charts you'll see that the lead ban didn't really lower numbers much at all, unless hunters found out about the future ban on lead for waterfowl over 10 years before it happened back in 1978-1980?
