Milsups like the old days - almost!!!

I've had a good laugh looking at this from inside the looking glass.

I wonder if people think I'm a hipster??? To take the Mick out of my co-workers and in good fun - I would say that the only potential Hipster left months ago to start their own Business in Calgary - the rest are more punk rock fans (even one of them left recently) more than anything else...and they all had facial hair prior to the Hipster trend...then again - some may be Lumbersexuals!!!

;)

I do agree that there should be more respect for Milsups!!! But that is why the Boss hired me part-time - he knew I had knowledge in the area. That is one thing I find GREAT about Milarm - you have a specialist in each area. I don't know about tactical clothing/shotguns but other staff members do. I never BS customers and if they can get a product elsewhere or for a better price - I refer them along. The gun industry is too small to be pissing off customers.

In regards to $500 SVT's that was the price about 5-7 years ago - then the price dropped as low as $200 1 1/2 ago and now back up to $350-450 - Supply and Demand.

Funny the last time I was through Milarm; they had cool stuff, but when I asked for Mosin accessories...I got a snub from the clerk. Which didn't make me smile by any means.
Looks like FSU stuff is popular there now though, which is good. I hope that clerk that snubbed me has moved on as well, maybe I'll go back there again.

Not sure who that was, feel free to punch them next time you're in!

I have often been told how horrible the service is at MilArm. I don't understand. I have had NOTHING but excellent service, advice, and general good-hearted conversation and fun since I first went there. I have gotten excellent deals and gotten good value for items I wanted to trade.
I tell this to these same people and all I get back is that the staff is too ignorant and sarcastic. Problem is, sarcasm is my mother tongue, so if that's the case, then that's why I love it there. Both of my boys love going in as well.
My wife doesn't mind going there and the last time I took her upstairs. She spent the afternoon looking around and really enjoyed the history. I liked the full cases of #4's, wish I had THAT as a coffee table!
