Not a bad idea. If I don't get anywhere with Blue Line maybe I'll bring it to the club and we can figure out what's missing with the help of the exploded parts diagram in the manual. if nothing else that would at least tell me what I'm looking for.
I usually find the piece a day after ordering a replacement... go figureI have noticed that anything that pings off 3 walls is gone for ever
One or two walls indicates a chance of recovery

Sadly i'm too deaf to even hear the pings anymore, so I don't even get a clue unless i see the launch. My fav was watching a small spring disappear into a 5 gallon pail of 38 spl brass sitting beside my work bench....didn't even bother looking for that one, just logged onto brownell's and ordered...
I was cleaning an old Italian starter pistol that had a square mag that inserted into the back of where the barrel would be and worked it way out the front of the barrel when fired. A detent ball flew - hit the floor and bounced once - that got the attention of my yellow Lab - The Lab promptly found the ball that was half the size of a BB and ate it - I just packed the starter pistol back up and declared defeat!

For future reference, find a company that deals in abatement and removal supplies and see if you can purchase a "glove bag". there are two gloves built into it and you place the gun inside with some tools, zip it up and take it apart without the risk of anything taking off. BTW the bags are really heavy duty clear plastic so you can see what you are doing.
