All the hype about a shortage is pissing me off. I have enough for the next few years, but I was at Wally World and they had 525s . I felt like I need to buy as they are rare. I don't shoot these and did not need them. I passed. When shells are again plentiful I will restock my stash of mini mags and Yellowjackets. There are still lots of sk+ ammo so I am set. My long winded point is if you don't need it pass. That way the guy that shoots 500-1000 rds a year will still have something to shoot. JMHO
Was just talking to my father in law, he said Bass Pro in Vaughn had those "half bricks" available. 2-300 round etc.
There's no question regarding shortages. It's a fact - not hype. Just because you're "set" doesn't mean others are.
They had no 22LR in that store on Wednesday.
I am not saying there is no shortage, but the hype is making people buy that do not need anything. I could have bought all 5 bricks at Walmart but left them.
Another one wanting $60 for a box of Winchester 555, available at my local Walmart this week for $24.97 + taxSome serious price gouging going on in the ee for .22 ammo.. Phuking ridiculous.
Repeat " I am not saying there is no shortage". Yes we are having a hard time getting shells. It does not help to buy all you see even if you have cases.
