You misunderstood my misunderstanding.
I thought you wanted it closed to stop the people from sending the types of PM's you were complaining about.
That's why I suggested deleting your post as a way to stop them. Iwasn't in any way trying to crap on your generous gesture.
ALL good no worries. sent you a PM
Companies that sell products to make money don't care about principal, they care about making money. It's supply and demand. It's not just ammo manufacturers that do this, I'm sure if you were in the business you would do the same. It sucks, ya I know, but do we really have to cry about it online every time we buy a box of ammo?
The us dollar is what you have to pay the American suppliers for the goods @ 1.25 exchange that will drive the cost up in a heartbeat.
A gun shop will be paying 25% more when he lands it. You need a decent margin to operate your business to cover costs. That $1.00 last year or more would net you 1.33 at a selling price.
That same item today would land @ 1.25 and to keep the same margin you need to sell it @$1.66. It doesn't take long to see the prices are driven by the US dollar. I would also think that their margins are somewhat higher to stay in business. That is only a 25% margin pretty slim. So that .065¢ round a couple of years ago year now becomes .081¢simple business math. If you try and operate at less tghan a 25% margin you will end up closing your door.

$15 to ship 1000 rounds of minimag doesn't seem so bad if they are the only ones with stock?
