not completely done still have to weld a few things on the dust cover have to find some time to complete that and reprint the last remaining plastic parts and improve some + the fun parts the test shooting , and see what will wear out , might have to do some modification to the dust cover if needed

Wow ! Now I want that prototype. Hmm ! should I start looking for AK wood kit now ? If so, what type should I look for ? Dad, are you serioue about mass production those ?
 
well a lot of thing are not done yet but if i have the chance i would try to make a short run depending how many people are interested , maybe one of the sponsor here could be interested and make the things more easy to mass produce ... , this project have been started a long time ago and will reach the end soon i hope , it just a question of time and money for me ,

all the other guys that tried to make and ak look a like nearly always keep some parts of the original sks stock but not me i dont even keep the original dust cover !
 
Ah... AK clone. For some reason I saw 'vz' in the op a bunch of times and it got stuck in my head.

Def looks AK ish.... very nice work.

Or was it t81 i saw mentioned.... let me look back. Lol
 
I think the sks looks better in its original form. I think the main problem is the distance of the trigger group top to bottom makes it look like it has a fat ass.
 
so here is a little update i haven't hit the bush yet but maybe next week depending of a lot of thing

i still have some plastic parts just looking to make them more simple
