what heavy barrel for 10/22 build?

Why would you go with a heavy barrel, when it appears you're not overly concerned about accuracy?

It was one of the only short barrels I could find available for sale at the time. I primarily wanted the short barrel for the lcf, but I figured that I may also use it for accuracy shooting at some point as well. Since I've moved to the gta, finding a reasonably priced 100m range that is not too far away has been tough.

its a dlask 16.5" 0.92" bull barrel with target chamber in that gun.

you can get shorter barrels than that from dlask. just make sure you meet OAL requirements with your stock. in general 16" is about the sweet spot for length and accuracy. going from 16" to something like 20" (or even 22") wont make a huge difference in accuracy. however, they are easier to tune the longer they are (different harmonics). but thats far outside the scope of what you are looking for.

^^barrels weights? On your dlask, you having problems with ammo with the target chamber?
lol the weight is heavy. not sure exactly but it isnt a light gun at all.

as for issues with ammo i seem to be having some feeding issues but im almost 100% sure thats due to the mag. no issues due to the chamber i believe. then again i have never fed it anything close to bulk. the lowest quality if CCI SV and federal champ SV.
