Composite Stocks

I can only hope they are the quality of the fit, finish and feel of the Robertson stock, for all of those who have not had the opportunity of owning a Robertson stock, there is no equal in todays market

RCI 2 H&H. In left hand.

agreed... totally agree :d:d but with two no three modifications. (do i get patent rights for this suggestion LOL)...Forend 2 inches longer, butt section has less angle (from toe to pistol grip) and the butt bottom section is \_/ not U
If you can add carbon to the forend to make the system lighter big plus

The practical side would tell me you would need to look at which division has more shooters more buying power TR, FTR or F open and position your first stock around that demographic

Cheers

I would really like to see a good varmint stock, something like an HS precision but a little longer forestock, less angle on the rear and a little wider on the forstock as well. There is a market for a stock like this but no one currently makes a stock like this( at least not that I am aware of)....

I am looking for a couple of TR prone stocks. Adjustable cheek piece, Anshutz rail, adjustable 6 way butt assembly. One for a Wichita and one for a Musgrave please. How soon will production start?

I'm looking for the same thing for RPA action.

I would build something like a Mcmillan classic hunting stock, and some sort of A5/manners t4 or t5 looking stock. I'd be willing to bet the "tactical" crowd buys ten times as many stocks as the fclass and bench rest guys, the competitive shooting community is pretty small in Canada. A guy best look into what's involved for export laws as well, getting another product to market in the states woul help a small company flourish. I can't wait to see what the new stocks look like!

One of the next things that will probably become an option in composite tacticsl stocks it a lenght-of-pull adjustment that can be adjusted on-the-fly like an AR carbine stock. Only more ridgid (obviously). A LOP that works well in the prone position is often too long for positional shooting or awkward barricade positions. What works well for these is short when you go to shoot prone. Some guys are going with chassis simply because they can use collapsible AR stocks that allow them to adjust the LOP for the position they're shooting. This would be a novel feature to add to a new design to make it stand out from the rest. It only needs to adjust 2.5-3".

Thanks for all the opinions. They will be taken into account. I don't know exactly when they will be available as it will take a couple of months of tooling.

The fellow in question has spent a pile of money on supplies and a pile of time with us learning how to do it. He is building a house at the same time so he is limited in what he can produce. It is looking like it will happen for sure.
