Father please lead us in prayer ........ for it's safe return .

OH NO!

More importantly, lets us hope that a firearm does not fall into the wrong hands.

I also had an FV-SR. Damn accurate rifle. I never should have sold it. I miss shooting it.

CP lost a scope I sent to a guy in BC. They said they had up to a month to find it before they would pay out the insurance. After a month they told me it was lost in a fire in one of their vans in the Mississauga yard. That was 20 minutes from my house but it took them a month to come up with that lame excuse. But they paid for it so all was good. More will come available.

Check your tracking, and make sure they put the right postal code, if that is of by one number or letter it is somewhere else! Could also be in the damaged department and would take a while before they contact you!

Thank you for your ideas , We ( seller and me ) have both opened a Ticket with CP reporting it not delivered , we both have called them and I have signed up for email alert . I cannot see how they can lose a box that big ???

Good Morning all , I am sure all your positive thoughts have spurred CP to find my rifle , well this morning it was on the front porch when I got back from the store !!

As promised , it is New in the Original box , I am very happy camper !!

When I pulled the rifle from the the plastic bag , a small spring and metal lever fell out , looks like I got an extra mag release lol.

Ok everyone , those two " Extra " parts are NOT A MAG Release ,,,, they were the Bolt stop assembly that had worked it's way free over the years and being shipped to and fro .

Reinstalled now , works like a new one .

Many Thanks Father !

Congratulations on getting your rifle! Can you tell us what the model number on the end of the box is? It looks like it says, "EM--something", but I can't quite make it out from the picture. The EM332 is the same rifle as the 522, except that the former has a sporter barrel, and the latter has the heavier target barrel with the distinctive swirl marks. Anyway, hope you enjoy your new rifle!

Thank you Minni

You have a good eye , the box end factory tag shows " EM332 " and the serial number below which matches the one on the receiver ..

Nice heavy barrel with the spiral running from end to end , reminds me of the first hammer forged Ruger 10-22 Target rifles barrels that were also blued .

Thanks for the clarification on the box tag. It seems to confirm the idea that the Canadian 522s are barrelled 522 actions that ended up in EM332 style stocks originally intended for the Australia/New Zealand markets. Until very recently, you could order the original US style stock from the original US importer, Keng's Firearms Specialities (that's what the "KFS" stamp on the receiver of your rifle stands for) of Atlanta, GA. They were rather expensive, IIRC. As for the spiral barrel, the 10/22T reminds me of the NS522, since the 522 came first.:d
