What is the possibility of brining in the NiteScout 9mm. Apparently it is a product improved variant of the Lusa and takes UZI mags and uses HK drum sights.

Yup. That barrel swap is silly easy. I'd love an NR one, and a restricted length barrel to swap with for range trips.
Just trying to understand this; are you saying you can put a short barrel on a NR firearm making it restricted, and go shoot without reclassifying the gun...?

I believe but could be wrong you have up to 30 days to reclassify it.
Wait, didn't the AR15 rifle come out first and all the mags were limited to 5 rounds, but then they made the LAR15 pistol and then the mags could be bumped up to 10 rounds. If this thing came out as a rifle first the mags would be limited to 5, but now there is a pistol version and the mag. limit should be increased to 10! Am I not seeing this correctly?

That abortion looks more like an M3 Grease Gun than an MP5.
