.50 Beowolf pistol mags???

All this talk about .50 Beo mags has got me thinking, before those came around we used/still use LAR 15 mags because they were a pistol mag it could be pinned to 10 rnds.

heres my Idea: 5 rnd .50 Beo mag = 15-17 5.56mm capacity

10 rnd .50 Beo pistol mag= 30ish 5.56mm capacity

has anyone else thought of this? could this be a possibility or perhaps work around so we can finally have normal capacity mags

Once a week someone else 'comes up' with this idea. Like we need the RCMP trying to change laws more than they already are.

But not this one, because "beowolf". There are 2 distinct threads for "beowolf pistol".

If you are fitting 17rnds into a 5rnd Beowulf mag, you might want to have that looked at.

Now, in a fit of morning crankiness I will add this: a Beowulf "pistol" would be a ridiculous thing to begin with. Never seen anyone on these threads talking about actually BUYING one, if they existed, in order to make the mythical mag happen. No...just have many someone else's buy into the concept so that they themselves can have a .223 mag.... Very selfish.. :/

just trying to help by throwing an idea around, if we need a .50 beo pistol to have the mags, someone can buil it and I'll sacrifice my wrist for the greater good and fire it
