COLT Canada SBR's/Parts

Remember people , this is not CC getting int0 selling to the public.
Its just dumping surplus. Over run products.

I disagree with you. The LE were not over runs. They have been dumping over runs. Its been said more models will be released down the road. Who knows if it will happen.

Well by golly, Hk cares about the civilian market way more than Colt ever did, not sure what all the fan boys were harping abut over the years. I hope you are right though.

Why do some people have a hate on for CC just because their focus is not the civilian market? Why does that make them so despicable? Not all companies need to cater to civilians.

I don't hate. I know the lads need those rifles. I don't think any less of CC at all. I've used their stuff to save my life more than once.

I dislike the company not the product.
Their rollout of the LE was a disaster.
The forum was rulled with an iron fist and heavily censored.
Screwed many LE/Mil but introducing the special pricing shortly after release then dropping the prices.
Said they would do something to help compensate but never did.
Pricing is rather high-- look at te triads and that rubber handstop.

A lot of good points there CdnCombatMedic (their release of the SA rifles regarding pricing and Mil./LE discounts was appalling, what a clusterf*ck that was and I don't care if their distributor at the time had anything to do with it, they should have controlled the situation). I too am disappointed in CC's attitude, but not their products.

The statement that more products were to be released in 2015 and then all the conversation and feedback just stops (and w/o any more products becoming available).

I understand they have a business to run and contracts to fill, but they shouldn't have become involved in civilian sales w/o thinking it through for the long term (which it appears they didn't do).

A big tease is what CC has become and nobody likes a tease for long.

Cheers D

It had a lot to do with Korth as well.

I agree, but Colt Canada had the final say on distributor. I personally think greed clouded judgement. I think they went with who was willing to pay more for these guns.

How many times did Matt say items like hats/shirts etc would be shipped out. Have not seen ####, not that I would buy a shirt or hat anymore but still. Not a way to do business.

For a limited run of 500 each C7/C8, I still see some for sale. That cant be good or what CC was looking for.

There continued release of small little batches has allowed retailers to jack prices and ultimately screw over the customers. That little IUR handstop comes to mind and the $299 triads.

Cant believe people actually pay those prices.

From what I have been told production is tied up fulfilling military and police contracts and will be for 3 years minimum. At that point they want to bring a bunch of complete SBRs and a few DMR rifles to the Canadian market (IUR everything). I really liked the CT so you can imagine what interests me.

People pay crazy prices, just look at what a 416 costs.

The hand stop was the best 40$ ever spent!!! I dont use it for shooting because it makes the grip to fat, so its sits in the bottom of my gun case... lol... and the 299$ triads well they should of got them from Jims junk when they were available... lol..

Well if it was cheaper I'd have more than 3.... lol... But with the Mil discount they were priced just right where they should of been.
