They are not... Smith and Wesson... But revolvers for us poor folk. Tell the truth they are alright aren't they.

Thanks. I've wanted a N frame Smith for a while now. The seller described it as "virtually unmarked" and he was pretty much spot on.
I have a hunch these classic S&W's are going to continue to appreciate...... maybe not as much as the Colts but they are definitely creeping up in price.

this would be my first revolver purchase, absolutely my favorite.
A couple of recent arrivals...
A Colt model 357 circa 1957. The first photo is more true to the colour. There is some bluing loss on the barrel but it appears to have been carried a lot and shot a little. An interesting gun...sort of a "pre Python Python"...only about 15,000 made.
...and a S&W Model 1917 in .45ACP A website i found indicates it was delivered to the US Army in November 1918. It's a little rough around the edges but i hope i look that good when I'm 96!
